Demo

The demo recording and everything is great but I think it would be cool if we had a demo player that let us switch to another persons view. Also it would be cool if we could pause and look around to see where every grenade and bullet is. Its nice to see if that random grenade you threw hit someone and messed them up. Also it would be cool if you could watch it in slow-mo and if you could forward and rewind. What you think about this?

You can already watch other persons view in Soldat demos. Download some demo player, for example I use Esdee by mar77a, which has been doing it's job very well.

For example with Esdee, you select the "Free Cam"-option. Then you can change players by mouseclicks.

Ah, Diamond Demo player doesn't have that option. Thanks alot, will come in handy for my filming

Just run Soldat as

...\Soldat.exe -demo demoname 1 100 0 0

As explained in the soldat manual, the first number will toggle free camera. The second number modifies the playback speed, the third number toggles show text, the fourth turns on bmp exporting.

So in short, this suggestion is already in soldat, please rtfm or die in a fire. Locked.
