BattlEye Violation
« on: January 02, 2008, 04:18:26 pm »
Lately I'm getting kicked out of every server because of a BattlEye violation. The download section in the official BE site doesn't work either. WTF should I do?

It was FRAPS. I hope that in future versions BE and FRAPS would be compatible with each other.

Support for it won't be added, in fact, it was disabled as a part of a more general defense, which is, anything that plugs "visually" to the soldat screen (hacks for n00bs mostly; fraps & xfire unfortunately).

How does Soldat pretend to be a good game if it's players can't record how they own the noobs in internet servers? And how can it be a good game if people cannot use Xfire to play?

This just sucks, bye.

Record a demo (F8), play it back, record it with Fraps. Not that hard.

You can still use Xfire. Search this forum.

Xfire has recently disabled Xfire ingame for Soldat, so if you have the latest version of Xfire, it won't cause you any problems.

Record a movie (F8) and then record it. BE can't kick you from your own game.

Well, I'm unable to activate XiG for Soldat, so I assume Xfire found out or was told :P.
