What's your favorite breed of dog?

I know a lot of us love having dogs as pets, I'd like to know what your favorite breeds are.

Mine are German and Australian Shepherds.

Thats a capital 'K' Thank you very much.
I dont like dogs. Too much poop. Atleast the cat can hide it in places you'll never find and/or smell.

My dog, Tija.  She was a Vizsla (think Greyhound)

She was smart, athletic, and barely ever shed.

While I agree with 4yo here about size of dogs 99% I have come to love my sister-in-laws daschunds and will probably buy one later depending on my housing situation. Seeing that I think its mean to lock up big dogs in small yards. However I do love labs, all the dogs I have ever had have either been labs or have lab in them, excluding one.

I actually hate dogs because they are very noisy, require more maintenance than cats, and I was bitten by one 2 years ago, but I love greyhounds... they are more docile.

Daschunds have smaller brains than other dogs. I find them to be very annoying. We had a daschund once, but it had a annoying habit of digging under the white picket fences and escaping. Eventually, his dig=and-escape plan went awry and he was hit by a car.

And the other experience, was that we had to take care of my cousin's daschund. Now, this one, it's a girl dog, so when it doesn't like being inside or outside, it cries. Really loud. But if we let her in, she sheets all over the carpet, annoy our black cat, and generally being a nuisance.

Other than all that, smaller dog poop, yeah.

I have two mixed breed dogs of a labrador and heeler as their parents. They're short, small, but powerful and really nice to people.

Perhaps you're right, but when was the last time you heard of a greyhound attacking someone? Besides, I like their body shape, too...
