Why is my Desktop so fecking noisy?

recently i havn't been using my desttop for a couple of months now. When i took it out of the garage and connected all the cables together and turned it on, all the fans were like, WEEEEEEEEEWRRRRWRWWEEEEWRRRRRRRREWRRRR!!!. I CAN'T STAND THE NOISE!! My desktop was never this loud before.

Any ideas how to stop my computer yapping? It has 4 fans, 3 at the back and a huge 1  on the side panel.

Turn on the fans, and don't use dial up.

My fan are allready turned on and why the hell would i use dial up.

Open up the case and clean out the mice.





Just try cleaning it of dust and stuff...run it without the case side panel on and see which fan is making the noise.

yeah the mouse contributes greatly to fan noise

i'd suggest cleaning it out, last time my pc was really loud i opened it up and there was a 1cm thick coat of dust around everything

Thx guys i found the problem. The fan on the side panel saw scraping in its fan housing. All i had to do to fix it was bend the fan abit to the left.

It's a joke, if you didnt notice. His 'puter was in his garage - mice live in garages (atleast where I'm from). Jerk.

its probably gonna break. thats what happened to my last computer before it broke, loud noises, overheating

Me weirdly it happend the opposite lol it was not too loud then I cleaned it up and now its my Master Cooler Fan (that I cleaned) that's makes a racket...do you think I should dirty it up again?

no. Noise can come from loose screws rattling in the fan, see if it shakes when it runs.

cleaning it would only make your computer cooler so the fans run less.
