What about small tornadoes then? If they are small - they don't have enough power to affect objects.

It would take much time to make good tornado gif... :)

I know it's only my opinion but try to imagine night map, lot of grass to hide, thunder and rain, and spec-ops soldiers attacking enemy positions. :)

I have added GIF scenery support to Soldat 1.5.0. Enjoy.
Then, does Soldat "play" the GIF animations in the same speed as they are specified in the GIF file?

Won't it just keep playing the same frame over and over, or will it actually work like an animation?

The GIF format being implemented is old news!
But I'd like there to be more weather added.

Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake.  Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big old storm right in the eye and says, "Give me your best shot. I can take it."

This might be possible to add with scripting if you could time an area explosion to the point when the lightning image would flash.
