Watching movies on digicam
« on: July 19, 2006, 05:24:55 am »
I'm going to buy Sony T30 with a 2gb card soon and I was wondering if it's possible to watch movies on the camera. Is there a way to upload the movie on the card and then watching it, kinda like iPod Video?

Yesh. Its called a USB cable. You'll get one with the product. Although you may need to encode it to the specific encoding the camera uses, just take a small clip, open it on pc and check somehow.

Yeah, I know. I need to enocde it to MPEG1. But what software do I need to use to upload it to the camera? Or can I drag-and-drop it to somewhere?

The Sony cameras I have when you plug them in they act as a card reader for the memory card thats in there. So it will appear in My Computer as another drive like a USB stick would or something. So you'd drag and drop.
