A Funky little pistol I happened to scroll across on fpsbanana. Comes with sick sounds as well as the reload sound that I mixed myself (sorta).

I had realistic mode on... lol. I haven't played R/S in months, so I'm not used to the kick on the weapons... But meh...

Thanks, I thought it was a little dark, maybe if I update the gun I'll make it a bit brighter.

I'll be honest and say I think the firing sound is a little too... metalic and 'clunky' for a pistol. It's a nice sound though, reload is great.

I thought the sound was great. It does outdo the other guns though... but its the way guns are meant to sound

It look okay to me, little too dark. Only thing which is bothering me is that if you used the transparency interface for the game and I guess you did you would be interested to fix the white dots on the left side of handle which doesnt look like something you wanted to add there.

You need to backflip a bit more when you're CQB'ing zombies.

One thing I'd like to point out is that the outline can influence the feel of the gun. Judging by that big pic of the A3000 in the background of your poster picture there, the gun's a squarish looking gun. However, the fact you omitted the pixels in the top and bottom of the muzzle gives the effect of a gun with a rounded front. Same with the LAM on the bottom.

As for the, erm, gray thing at the top; I'm not sure what it's called; anyways, it needs to be darkened a bit more, or just make the top a bit lighter across the board. The reason is that with the small graphics in Soldat, the proportions are different and so you need to average the difference between colors when doing small details -- it's like manual antialiasing. Same with that light pixel above the grip.

Shell ejector. On some blak guns it's chromed and it makes ontrast between frame and it.

yer, the firing sound is pretty good, however... the sound of the bullets dropping on the ground... is AWESOME. nice work on that. 

last thing, you need to re-do the trigger.  its pretty... bad...

overall:  umm... about, 7.5/10.  cos of the soundFX.  so yesh... pretty good

I don't usually appreciate one-weapon-topics, but since I fell to make one myself some time ago, I'll comment this one

Well, almost all pistols look the same to me, but there's a certain feel here. I think I might replace the Socom with this one, since it looks nice and fits well. I think it's hard to draw anything detailed that small, but you've done a good job there.

Couple of things to fix though. The laser does not blend well, not well at all. You can take it as a compliment that that is the biggest fault imo And of course, you can always work on the shading. Nothing's ever perfect.
