M79... Noob?

No nothing 3+ years of playing and I don't know anything.

I was refering to the fact that kamikazing is kill your self and the other person, now go back to what he said and read it.

oh just what the hell are you talking about, it does happen, just like when you sometimes hit an enemy with m79 directly, but still alive. it's those kind of bugs okay? so if you really wanna try what i told you, then use m79 for a while and you'll see that sometimes(rarely) some people will stay alive after getting shot by m79 directly

I use the M79 a lot and I think I'm quite good with it.  I don't mind being called a noob by some retards but getting kicked for using the M79 is really annoying.

The shot in the first post is not lucky. It takes some skill to hit somebody in mid-air with that weapon and it happens quite often with good M79ers.

And about kamikazing... Sometimes you just can't avoid it in realistic mode. When somebody jumps from behind a wall you have to options a) get yourself killed by the enemy (there's not enough time to switch wepons) or b) shoot and take him down with you. I choose b, especially in survival mode where taking out 1 enemy really matters.

And for all those who say that M79 is easy to use:
- (as mentioned before) if you miss a shot, you're usually screwed
- reload after every shot - it's  quite easy to rush M79ers after they shoot
- they have to be extra careful when using cover or are near other teammates
- I think M79 nades are the slowest projectiles in the game, even the regular nades are faster when thrown (not to mention a running player)

Its not a bug, its You/other persons fault. Its caused by Flame God (WeeHeeHee) Vests, (Sometimes) or error in packets. Also, it isnt rarely, as it happens at least 2 times each round in MOST servers.

For Flame God, if the M79 shot registered and hit directly, the guy's HP will go down to 1 HP instead of an instant kill, and you can see that guy injured baddly. This applies to other explosive weapons as well (except grenades).

For Vest, that is IF the shot was not 100% direct, or the server would take it as the projectile exploded but not hit directly, so the guy gets launched and is not dead. If it is 100% direct, instant kill.

It's to easy to kill people with it..thats the problem.

Same thing with the ruger. But noone whines about the ruger. Why should it be the same with the m79?

we had shit loads of this post long time ago if i remember well
rugger actually is a really balanced gun, 2 hit kill, a decent reloading, and slow shooting rate. it's really a perfectly fine gun
