Sniper killing
« on: April 01, 2008, 11:46:05 pm »
Eh, this is an old kill, but it's still my favorite.

I was rushing in some TW map, Ruger on hand, running rabid. I ran passed some oblivious enemy player -looking the wrong way and shooting the wrong things- and I back flipped, getting a clear shot on his head and CRACK! popped him.

I'm still rising as his body falls, and I turn around to continue my rush, just in time to see an enormous sniper bullet coming directly at me. I return fire, shooting a single bullet to wherever the shot had come from, and kill him as I'm ripped in half myself. He was pissed, I think.

As a TW marksman, I can tell you that Ziem's right, that happens pretty often. Learning to track bullet origins is how I scored most of my kills.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

I don't think you know peu...

And I damn sure know that your not better then him...

I have played trenchwars for a good while and never once seen you...

I would like to see you jump in a snipers line of sight, see a bullet hurling toward you and react fast enough to kill him right before you die, from the bullet that he shot...

And I'm betting that it was a headshot...

Was a good moment...

Yeah guys, I'm not talking about just returning fire after I know where the sniper is. I mean, I get half my kills that way. I mean I aimed and shot after the bullet was on the screen... I mean, if that's something you do commonly, please, show us.
