If you'd be kind enough to actually look at his avatar you'd see it was a .png already [test it by trying to save it]. Assumptions suck.

Wolf, is it bigger than 90x90? SF will resize transparent PNGs down to 90x90 if it's bigger but won't retain transparency during the process.

Atleast decide on an avatar you want to keep, since its annoying for people to use time to edit your avatar if you just discard it moments later.

I'd recommend either alpha'ing out the left and bottom edge or adding a black border on the left and bottom so to not give that clipped look. :3
