The SCTFL (Soldat Capture The Flag League) administrators would like announce that sign-ups have officially opened for the league's 13th consecutive season. SCTFL is one of only three official Soldat leagues, and it is the oldest active CTF league in existence. SCTFL consistently attracts the top clans in the competitive Soldat scene and has been host to over 1,000 clans and over 8,000 clan wars in its history.

Last season saw Soldiers Nightmare emerge as the victor in a well-fought final match against Seals, in what was one of the most surprising and unpredictable seasons on record. These two clans, joined by over 110 others, played over 2,300 matches during the season, averaging about 64.8 matches per day, making it the most active SCTFL season yet.

The SCTFL administrators look forward to another successful season, and they strongly encourage all interested clans to check out the SCTFL forums and sign up as soon as possible. The season is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 3rd, though clans may continue to sign up throughout most of the season.

In addition to the SCTFL news, the SRL (Soldat Realistic League) administrators would like to congratulate Cunning Cunners for their victory against Western Gunners in SRL5, SCTFL's realistic mode counterpart, last month. The sixth season of SRL has not yet been announced, but interested players may keep updated by visiting the SCTFL forums, which also serve as the home of the realistic league.

Finally, the administrators would like to wish luck to all clans participating in the upcoming season of SCTFL. Any questions or comments may be relayed to the SCTFL team via the forums.

Rather than starting the league on November 1st, we will be starting SCTFL 13 on Monday, November 3rd.

The signups forum will be locked to all edits on November 1st. What this means is that after November 1st, no clan can make roster changes in the signup forum by editing their initial post any longer. All roster changes must at that point be made in the roster changes forum. The signups forum will only be locked to editing, so new clans can still signup by making a new topic.

We'd just like to point out that SCTFL 13 has officially started as of today! Clans may now begin playing matches. Clan rankings and detailed statistics can be found here throughout the season.

Remember that it's not too late to sign up if your clan wants to participate.
