Using Imageready and other stuff (help?)
« on: April 13, 2008, 02:26:22 pm »
Ok, so I'm making a crappy animation using pivot, and then bringing a an object (gun, to be precise) into the animation using Imageready. The problem is, I move the object in one frame... and it moves in all the frames. How do I make it so that one object any moves it I tell it to?
So lets see... I had the gun on the hip of the stick guy, and I wanted him to pull it out and pop off a few rounds... but I moved the gun in every layer, went back and the gun wasn't on his hip at the start (it was in the center of the animation for a few frames) and then it moved in to some of the positions I told it to.
Any help?

Just make one at the hip, copy the layer, move the new layer to the position you want it to be in the end, then tween.

You need to go through each frame and select which layers are visible in that frame.

If you make any layers visible in frame 1 they will automatically apply to all following frames until you make them invisible.

Harder than I thought. I can't seem to find an easy to use program that allows animation, and allows you to use other images (that you've created) that the stickmen can use.
Any ideas?

sooooo.. did you use the tween option or not?

http://www.superfundungeonrun.com/easytoon/ might want to try that one to see if it allows you to use images 'n stuff
edit: don't think so

Pivot 3 Beta lets you add sprites, but that's the only other one I know of.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

Imageready is quite complicated for animations as you have to create a new layer for each frame. If you really want to make good animations go with flash.

I know a very easy way. Great program for stick fights but its not made to be one. Its a fighting game. You can edit all the moves of the sitck man and add neones pretty awesome... But i cant find it. Its called "superstick 2" dont think it will help you much anyway..
