Hai! So after having retired from mapmaking for a long time, I got my lazy ass back up and started Polyworks to create a missing part of the CS map series: de_inferno. It's quite optics heavy but was also tested ingame and optimized for balanced teams and cool tactical possiblities. Although it is a rather big map, it can come down to very intense fire fights at the middle part. Lower and upper route both have their uses and it never gets a 1-route-only fight because of the connection at the middle part.
Recommended for R/S servers only.

~Map Data~
815 Polygons (varies from overview)
500 Sceneries
43 Jetticks
no waypoints
Done in ~21 hours
791 KB filesize
Recommended players: 3on3 <---> 8on8
Recommended gamemode: CTF with Realistic Survival

~Scenery credits~
VirtualTT (Vegetation)
Serial Killer (Lights)
Viggoloniggolo (several crates and obstacles)
RiR Martin (The whole rir scenery stuff)
Don't remember the rest.

~Overview~

~Blue base~
~Left-middle part~
~Middle part~
~Right-middle part~
~Red base~

@Leo: I've modified the map slightly, you should upload this new version so we don't get WMV and crap.

Already played it on your server =D. Graphics rocks and the gameplay is quite good too =).  I guess it's a updated version, i played it two or three days ago and there was a little confusing thing at the blue base. The  ladder that leans at the roof made me think it was possible to fly trough the polygon but it wasn't.
Two bad things i got to say: the movement is a little bit difficult. 2nd the wall at the middle house was too visible (could hide good behind it)

9/10

Dling and checking if you changed that =)

I've played this many times in Avarax's server, and It seems to be really well balanced, it has almost none polypugs, and it has awesome visuals! Great map, 9.5/10!

Very nice map, the only thing i don't like is the color of the wall in the underground tunnel. It looks way too blue (on the screenshots, haven't looked ingame yet)

Tested it about an hour ago.  Must say this is an excellent map, gameplay and layout-wise.  But I think with several tweaks, it can be perfect.  The polygons behind the crates in the middle can be set to 0% opacity.  And I think the background polygons in the lower route are kind of unnecessary.  It might slightly enhance the scenery background, but not by that much.  It just adds more lag issues.  The beams from the houses are also unneeded.  And since this map is so life-like, the happy face on the sun is totally does not match, remove it.  Everything else is flawless.  With those tweaks, this can be perfect.  Also the texture is huge.
