@STM - doesn't 8th's post agree with what I say?  I'm just suggesting, perhaps don't nerf the self boost?

@iDante - umm... the point of support is never to kill anyone (only if lucky, as you say) but to damage them so that your team can finish them easy.  The inaccuracy kinda helps, makes your shooting span a bit more and increases your chance of actually shooting someone.  =P

Nah, just stating that the possible changes aren't quite the same as you suggested. The self-boost is less instead of more or other values, and the pushing ability of the minigun is still the same as the current (despite 75% bullet push, due to other stats like faster firing rate and speed).

I don't understand why this weapon is a wind gun.

I mean , usscom vs minigun = usscom ftw. What the freak.

This weapon should kill, not just to bink or push. Now is a useless weapon.

Guess theres a moral rule that should prevent me from using barret´s scope. Scrubs.

Well, imagine it is a CTF or INF, or whatever team game it is. Is the team score more important or your individual score more important?

And, if you haven't realized, the minigun's killing ability is actually increased. Faster firing rate. It still retains the same bullet push (due to its new firing rate and bullet speed) while all other guns have weaker bullet push. And if you calculate it, the Damage per Second is now higher. And higher bullet speed and lower bink, which means I can shoot over a slightly longer range.

I will be happy with a 15/20 kill ratio if my team win.

I dont need all those stats.

Just watch it. Every weapon beat minigun in long range. You can just retreat for a sec , then rush  and kill that minigun user.

Sometimes , they come in handy, putting a bullet wall between the FFC and the enemy, but this is not enough to say that the weapon is balanced.
