Adding music on the server.

How about this.  When your on a server, the admin can put music on the background so everyone can hear. Since in 1.5 theres going to be voice, its really obvious people will spam their mic with music running horribly through their wires.


What do you think? Its just an idea, don't go harsh.

Since there is going to be voice, music might not be hard to do. I'm for this as long as it's completely optional and the clients (players) can decide whether or not to enable it. That'd be pretty cool, voting for tracks on the server's playlist to be played.

The voice communication won't be enabled IN soldat, it will just co-op with TS showing who's speaking at the moment.

Yeah you pretty much are thinking about the wrong thing, its just TeamSpeak integration.; and even then the idea is silly.

What about the fact you need to register to listen to custom playlists?  You could just listen to the music on the server then...

hmm.. and then its going to download... and download... and download music files over and over. Kid's will put on 1000123010321 "crazy" music clips and it will be more music show than a game.

I prefer my own custom music. I can't play and listen to music that flat out sucks...f11
