That I remember, and they were ugly as well.
-> "We didn't have smileys anymore and it was perfect that way." There fixed. ;)

We should at least be able to disable the smileys display in the profile  preferences... :/

These are ugly, I'd rather have no smileys.

v v v are some of the best smilies i've seen (the something awful forums, I wouldn't recommend stealing stuff from them though):
