Ban exceptions (server)
« on: August 10, 2008, 02:33:23 pm »
Basically, a new feature to the dedicated server: a list of IP:s/masks that if a player is found in would override any bans already set in banned.txt. This would be immensely useful in cases where one has to ban a rather large subnet in order to keep somebody with a dynamic IP out, but still have the possibility to let a single person within that range in. Having the possibility to add these on the same basis as normal IP bans (and possibly timed exceptions, too?) would truly help, at least me, out in a lot of cases.

Discussen sie.

Wouldn't this be possible with scripting? But either way, yeah, I support the idea too.
There are other worlds than these

Is there any reason why not?
If not then I support fully.

Yes, scriptable, and extremely easy to script in fact.
