Because, seriously, I need to finish this deathmatch map I've started months ago, no matter how small it is. :(

Very nice, I've downloaded it but what's the use of the platform on the right? :]

Screenshots are usually slightly darker than their in-game counterpart.

It's a reference to inf_Yarr's platform.

Where to start?  I'm not sure, so I'll just make a list.

-It's too dark, especially the lower parts, you can't even see the ground
-Layout's boring, compressed version of Cambodia
-Horrible choice of texture
-Doesn't play too well, small and crammed, especially lower parts
-Scenery is all right, but I'm not a fan of this style

And the only maps Wraithlike made with this style that weren't completely horrid in gameplay were htf_Minotour and ctf_Morass.  Everything else, eesh.

And what's with people rating maps on this forum?  Do you actually try the map before you rate it?

And your old avatar was better.

Unfortunately, I enjoyed playing on ctf_shatter quite a bit back in 1.3.1. Although most people complain of the layout being too buggy, it's pretty simple enough to say that I loved sawing people from underneath the spawning platform.

I stand by what I've said before, it's brighter in-game, and the gamma settings is less brighter than the computer screen itself in Soldat, but yes, it's a bit dark in the lower-left grounds. In the other parts, it's a little brighter from having recently adjusted them.

Oh, and you don't actually have to rate the map based on its gameplay. It's too small to matter. :p

Yes, it is brighter in-game than in the screenshot.  But in-game, it's still too dark.  Some areas it's so dark you can't even see the floor, your player's feet, or bullets.  That can lead to some gameplay issues.

And about the rating thing, this is the scenario.  Map is released, a random forumer checks the thread and posts some garbage like "Wow, looks nice" or "I like it".  Then he or she rates it 5 star.  I mean, what the fuck is up with that?  Then there's others who actually download the map and give it an honest rating, I gave this a 2.

Good scenario. I never had high expectations for the map, because it's extremely referential, and I like it in that way.

It reminds me more of this, especially the way the liana is layed out...

Lets see: Yarr, Morass, Shatter, Siren, and Azteca perhaps?

It's cute. Thanks. Shame it's too small to be too playable.

Waaaay too dark for me, but the visuals are quite nice and the watter effect, though used many times before, is well done.  Map is smaller than I thought.  Underground portion of map could be more fluid.

Yes, even with the rocks in the way, stupid stuff still happens. :/

It's too dark to tell, but the sunken top portion of a building is straight from Conquest.
