Strip all the flesh from the bones and let them dry out.

Create jerky from the flesh and sell it at all the local gas stations/markets, as they tend to allow that sort of thing. Selling local jerky, that is. They don't know where it came from.

Once the bones are dry, I'd grind them up into a fine dust and add them to home-made popsicles that I'd serve to all my neighbour's family/children during a barbeque. I'd be sure to add fruit and other such goodies to help hide the flavor.

As for clothes/possessions, burn'em.

Edit: A lot of you are saying "Burn the body". Unfortunately, a typical fire does not have the heat required to break down bones and other identifiable genetic material. It would require a rather intense chemical fire or something similar. Firewood just won't cut it.

Eating it yourself has the rather unfortunate side-effect of disease or infection. Eating raw human flesh can cause all kinds of horrible things to happen to you. Not to mention the fact that if you are brought in for questioning at any recent point thereafter, it would still be possible for them to locate genetic material in your feces (were they wise to your possible method of disposal).

Acid doesn't guarantee a complete eradication of genetic material, sadly, though I am told that hydrogen peroxide is capable of obfuscating blood samples.

I'd put it in the freezer 'til it was solid, then stick it down a woodchipper and scatter the pieces over a lake or something. I'd remove the teeth and grind'em with something first though, 'cause they tend to go through the machinery unspoiled.

Haha, that's what I always tell people in a climb server I play, I'll kill them and put them over a lake, into a wood chipper, and then drive the woodchipper into the lake.

Well, it's a thread asking how you would get rid of a body. It's not asking if you would kill the person first.

But yeah, my uncle owns a big wood chipper(landscaper) and I(we/family) live with 2 giant ponds in the back cow pasture, so it's not 100% impossible.  </ramble>

Depends who's body. If its a hobo who none would miss id just let it rotten in the ground. But lets say its the US president, That's harder to cover because they put more effort in the search. But I would probably send bits of him/she (about 1/25 bits) to random places all over the world. And one of those "random places" would be the white house. If you murder someone high up make sure it gets remembered. If I didn't want it to be remembered id just ask him/her the second before he dies then do the opposite.
