Boost ma WA!
« on: September 07, 2008, 04:59:29 am »
Hey boys.
Så I have this static "White noise" thing when running my cpu sound on my stereo, apparently ma cable isn't what it used to be. No matter, 'cause when I see things on youtube, they really cover it so I don't even notice. However, when using winamp, even on max volume, it barely covers it. So is there any way to boost the max volume for winamp?

Thanks,
echo

Enable Equalizer, The far left slider will give you a volume boost when you max it out.  That should do, if not search a volume boost plugin or something, strangely it doesn't seem like there is anything out there..

Player since late 2007

You mean the PREAMP or the far left on actually inside the equalizer? No matter, doesn't seem to work any of them.

Just to make absolutely sure:

And yes, like Hair|Trigger said, look around the Winamp website for any kind of volume boosting plugin - possibly one that normalizes your tracks, like RockSteady, could help too.

Aye, it's checked. In "normalizing" you making every track come out on the same volume, or am  getting it wrong?
