The gameboy and 2D LOZ games hold the best standing in my opinion.

I'm going to agree with Rai-Dai and say my favourite would be Link's awakening. It has the deepest storyline out of all the games. It is a game centered around Link's mind, and what he is thinking. It's a much more spiritual game than you would think at first glance. It is a very buddhist/hindu game o.0, the world being all an illusion, and the only path to freedom is to conquer your desire for the world, and destroy it.

Probably the best game I've played.

OoT was the best, close second by Twilight princess. TP would have been better if it had the kind of great music design of OoT, and "oot" is a much better acronym than one that also stands for toilet paper.

DX stands for the gameboy Color I believe. Zelda: Link's Awakening DX for Color, and Zelda: Link's Awakening for gameboy.

Dx had the lame "Color Dungeon" where you could get the Red and Blue suit: Red for Attack, Blue for Defense.

Yeah except red suit pwns children. AFAIK DX was like directors cut or something. That is still one of my favorites, and I think the first one I beat. I loved the flying rooster, and it was one of the few games you could actually kill chickens. But I was like 5 when I played it, so I barely remember it.

I didn't play Link to the Past until after I played Link's Awakening, and it was pretty interesting to see how much LA's map had been based on LttP.

I never played any of the Zelda games. The closest thing I got to with Zelda was with the Super Smash Bros. games.
