those gay bubbles only make defending more lame and that rubble in the bases looks kind of nasty imo... gameplay looks fun.. hmm i'd try to make the low route slower than top somehow

nice improvement from your last maps, simple = better :)

edit: oh and the flag supports might be excessively big? can't tell without testing but they look too wallish right now

shading is crap. I don't think that bullet collider will stop saws anyways... The FFC and EFC will be sh*ting all the time with those colliders to avoid be killed...

I think it's awesome, I had a sort of map Idea like this myself, just a bit smaller.

It reminded me a bit like Death2, and those maps.  I like the low, how's there's lava there right?

Anyway, good map 8/10 ;)

Agree with mar77a that those bubbles are a bit confusing thing. The bullets wont go through but when u try to throw grenade, it usually goes through (in fact that's a good thing cos otherwise the player could camp there as mar77a said). Mar77a is also right on that map is best of urs, his point simple=better/funner that's almost always true. One thing I think could be better. Moving from top routes to flag is awful: you need to turn around in air. That's bad bad thing.

Here's a solution


About look I think it's good, very nice usage of cols and supports. Niko said that shading is crap, well it isn't really shaded but despite the fact of that map doesn't look boring. So if map doesn't look boring it doesn't need so great shading.

this map's play will be rather slow since its short and you have to turn all the time.

3. No (maybe), after all they r the thing why map is unique, it got gameplay issues yes but not too bad I guess

4. No, spawn idea works

5. No, but u could give something good for top routes, my suggestion is that u set a medicit at the top of polyisland where flag stays (the same place that I suggested on my last post)

7. Yes, supports and cols look already good, delete all vegetation and try replace with fences, ropes, boxes, barbwire something like that.

The only complaint was the dark background color and that the server was missing some scenery. But the gameplay was as expected with constant flow and more offense than defense. Thank you vandercluus for letting me use the server, I asked you to play in the sna channel via IRC but you didn't respond(shoulda pmed you sorry). If you don't mind, can I continue to test the map?


If there are other suggestions, please post it.

I dont mind, but I dont have highlight enabled so next time pming me would be better ( I get a sound on PMs). If you give me the missing sceneries I'll upload them onto the server and yes, you may continue testing it there.

Its possible to make some just nice polys somewhere I mean stylish once if you understand what I mean? :)

I don't really care about how stylish it is as long as it plays well. But just since you asked, I touched up the middle with Aksis(yep, how unoriginal) , and made the background lighter so you can see easier. A lot of minor fixes that are really not noticable such as adjusting sceneries and so on.

Hmmm reminds me of BZ2

Anyway, the only significant factor here would have to be the colors and artwork, and for that it's a real nice map.
