No one is harming US culture more then the media. I am willing to bet the person who the voice distortion is a 15 year old script kiddy.

Does FOX qualify as news? :D I think this is a good representation of what their gullible audience would eat up.

Anyway, I could care less about this evil group of little hackers. They're terrorists, that much is true, but they're also teenagers. Teens with too much time and nothing to do. Can't say I didn't cause my fair share of mayhem growing up. Nothing compared to bomb threats (which, as your article points out, was not the work of anonymous at all), but childish mayhem nonetheless.

If no one actually watches them, how are they harmful?

since when has News been accurate? News media has never accurately presented technology related news. Fox was the one that said that the DS would get your kids molested.

Haha, yeah, pretty much.

A Kotaku kommenter put it pretty well:

Quote
Little Timmy: Can I sleep over at Billy's on Thursday?
Mom: That sounds fun. What are you guys planning to do over there?
Little Timmy: Me and the guys are planning to drink some Sam Adams, then watch two-girls-one-cup a couple of times, shoot some heroine, have a massive orgy, then afterward play some Grand Theft Auto.
Mom: Wait a second! No son of mine will be exposed to the likes of Grand Theft Auto!
Little Timmy: Aw man!

Fantastic.

I watch Daily Show, Colbert, and CNN. CNN is, to me, unbaised because there are so many biased people of different opinions it evens itself out. Comedy Central is just funny.

Are you kidding? CNN is one of the most biased sources out there, and like FOX they try to say that they aren't. (We call it "communist news network" around here)

I have the Seattle Times, the NY Times, and Digg rss feeds on my computer. Plus I watch the (super-biased but I don't care) Daily Show and the Report.

We call it the Clinton News Network. I am just saying that they also have huge conservative people, so it kind of balances itself out. And huge liberals.

Media are showing only what's important to them, not to us, so they get to have more viewers.

I prefer not reading news, instead, just go onto internet, hear some exotic rumors, and then search it in Google.

I have tried to watch CNN but some of the idiots on there give me headaches. I catch Fox sometimes if something interesting. Most news I just can't stand and I really don't need more stuff on my mind. I just let my news come from the grapevine and then I research it if I need to.
