Yes im a nub with image editing programs and modding etc but is there any way to use these now? or do i have to wait for papasurf to finish the whole mod?

Nothing aside from c&p'ing the pictures and removing the backgrounds.

You cant have perfect quality by simply removing the background, the outlines are Anti-Aliased so they are actually blended in and fused with the outline   you could draw black outlines on them with a pencil tool, thats all you can do

That said, do you have any non-backgrounded versions of the weapons? It'd make using the mod a lot easier.
