Generally these things are due to DNS issues, though that one is longer than your typical DNS timeout.  Feel free to give me any more information you can get about it and I'll do what I can to track it down

Never happened to me, especially not since I got IPV6. Could that be why?

IPV6? What's that?
The current IP addressing system is known as IPV4 and was developed in the eighties. The number of IP addresses it supports is becoming too low as the number of internet-connected computers in the world increase and within the next ten years the internet will switch over to IPV6, which is faster and allows for many more IP addresses. it sounds like it was a very short thing, most people probably didn't notice it.  It shouldn't have anything to do with IPv6, it was more likely some DNS issue.
