I personally like it, since it holds true.
Only thing is that it's plain and may be distracting for some people.

The huge compression kills it.

I laughed. But then I laugh at anything. I like it but I'm far from the average.

Well, would anyone like to fix the compression? Considering I don't know how.

This is a high quality picture of grapefruit. It is in GIF Format. It is so high quality because it's been made in Photoshop CS3
Your avatar looks like you edited it a bit in paint and saved it as a jpeg, the quality of the image depends on the image editing system you're using, but the highest quality you can get from a PNG if you're using a program like paint.

I wish you'd go back to your Elfen Lied one, since I'm not using my Lucy avatar right now.

Just redo your avatar, do the same, and then save it as PNG... you can do it using paint too.

^ This is why Photoshop users distance themselves from GIMP.

No, because gimp is simple to use, unlike CS3. Cs3 people think they are the bomb digity fresh and all other people aren't said bomb digity, let alone that fresh.

So in a nutshell, all CS3 people are pretentious dicks.
Lol, internets.

There are people like that in both worlds... I use GIMP not because I think it's somehow "better" than photoshop, but just because I don't have the money for it. Please don't think that all GIMP users are douches just because some are.

And you're totally right.

But there isn't any need to be defensive if you know you're not guilty, eh? ;)

Wait, so Photoshop CS3 is better than Gimp or they're equal?

Btw, I like that avvy. It's pretty funny :D

Both are awesome or really crappy, depending on the user.

Ds Dude: Try saving as a gif, since normal jpeg compression always pukes up flat areas with lace.
