Free clan? What that is supposed to mean?
I dont really know any clans which are chargeable, every clan in Soldat is free or at least should be.
Finding serious clan can be very difficult if you dont have IRC and dont use it because it makes communicating with other clan members pretty easy. In fact much easier than without it. I dont know any clan which should be taken seriosly and are not using IRC.

Anyway, I prefer using IRC to find clan because I dont think so many clan leaders are checking forums to find new members to their clans. I'm not saying that anyone isn't I just think that there isn't many of them. It's possible that you could find your clan from this thread but you could rise your possibilities to findl clan by using also IRC.
If you are going to play leagues like
SCTFL you should start using league setting while playing Soldat and stop playing in server which is using bonuses. It's that because leagues are not using any bonuses like Predator-mode or something other like that because it gives unfair benefir to user of that bonus.

Almost every clan plays only Capture The Flag -gamemode. Camping dont help much, I'm not saying that it doesn't help at all. But if you can't do other things well than camping clan doesn't want to recruit you. In most cases it is like that.
How to make a new clan ?[/s][/hr][/hr][/hr][/hr][/hr]
Making clan in Soldat doesn't need any database. You can "just make" clan. If you decide that your new clan name is "New Clan" and your new clan tage is -nEw- then you just have to put it before (or after) your nickname. Then your nickname should be like (this is just example, I dont know your real nickname) "-nEw- LORD KILLA". Then you can start find members to your clan. If you are using IRC you should make public and private channel to your clan.
