Knee Help

Ok yesterday night I went skiing with my school and like I f**ked up my knee like BAD. I was going down a hill and somehow when I fell, because I had snow blades my boot didn't come free of my "ski", I think my right knee made a 180. so right now I'm supposed to be at school but since I walk like a zombie (hehe) I will stay at home. so anything you guys recommend? oh! and the only thing I cant do with it is like move it but like when I walk on it, it isn't that bad...like its not the presure.

EDIT: and please dont start making that moral of skiing is dangerous and bla bla bla
EDIT2: no I didn't go to the Doc yet...I'll try to go tonight

go to the docter, find out what he/she says.

put ice on it perhaps?

Elevate it I guess and try to move as little as possible until you find out what is wrong.

And put some ice on it if it's still swelled up, otherwise just take it easy.

I know what you guys mean with the ice thing but when it happend right away I put someone it and like it didn't help...the cold actually hurted my lower leg more than anything

You most likely just pulled a tendon - and you can quote me on that if it turns out I'm right.

Just rest your leg in a comfortable possition and you should see a doctor at some point.

Knee is the worst thing to fuck up. My knee is pretty fucked, I smashed it on a trambouline(?), it bended inwards. Happened like a year ago, and it's still not alright. I suspect it never will be. all I can tell you is to go see the doctor, get a scan or summing. Really, if anything's really wrong, you wanna know. Also, as someone said, keep it elevated for the first 2 weeks, just 'til the swelling's off. Then, if something's really fucked, try to train the muscles around it as often as you can, just so they can support it. Mostly when an injury occurs to the knee, it weakens it in such a way that there's a higher chance for it to happen again. You wanna strenghen your knee to counter that.
