WTF

[Splinter-Snake]

I didn't have the map, so I waited for it to finish downloading. Also, even before I came into the game, my soldat music was still playing even on the menu. The music that should've ended with the round. Once the map was downloaded I entered the server and I saw this:





It was like a picture in picture on Soldat. There were two screens. On screen was the main screen. The other one was towards the left and a bit faded. Everytime I did something it would show on the main screen and on the little screen towards the left. I was extremely weirded out. It was like two soldats in one. It's case of f**ked up map version.

I made a demo, and when I played the demo, the map was fine and none of that weird shit was there, so I just looked like an idiot running around. The textures and everything were fine.

Basically, has this ever happened to anyone else?

I've played back demo's and had the edges way off the polygons, although the texture was there and there wasn't another screen inset.

All you see are the smooth polygon lines. Polygons were invisible for me some years ago so I had to play like this all the time back then.

That would be badass if there was actually a mapmaking program like that. It'd make it a whole lot easier than having to start up Soldat and load your map each time. Almost like being in the map as you make it.

Yeah I agree that would be awesome! Too bad they havn't made that yet...maybe we should add it to "Game Improvements" just for the lols.
