5 1v1-Maps by DarkCrusade [UPDATED]

After seeing Aero i wanted to do 1v1-maps, too I had so much fun with doing Beebo that I continiued making 1v1-maps The result you can see as attachments

EDIT: most scenery is taken from default or from the vegetation-mappack you get in the mapping-ressources-corner, I think nobody in this forum is missing this files, if anybody needs them, I´ll upload them

EDIT2: Did a new 1v1-Map for a Tutorial I made for the new Clanforum of mine and DeathKnight1, it is available in attachment

Also, what map is the one for 1v1 deathmatch for your clan?

1_Castle was build in a tutorial for the forum
Gameplay changes with every map, the themes are much different but the size is small;
that is my interpretation of 1v1

Hey dude!
Look at this picture. Thanks to irfan view it's almost ten times smaller. So You post here e lot of pictures and every of them are BMP. You can easy compress them to jpg via irfan view. BMP is not compressed format, so it's God damn biiiiig. I have shity connection so I gave up to viewing Your pictures. =)

And if about the maps, I think Your interpretation of 1v1 is proper. They looks like 1v1 arenas. Small enough and on middle some obstacles, that's good.

Yeah, unoriginal and same layout. Them all.

Burn in fire .bmp images, use .png from now on.

I agree with Kvachu, your idea of a 1v1 arena is the proper one.

Next time I start making new themed 1v1-maps (when I have time for making some) they will have new Layout, since players adore things they have already sawn

You should be more original next time. We whine because all these maps look the same, and you should try different layouts, not only focus in one and make small changes on each map you make.

I forgot to mention, that this maps are depending to a tutorial I made --> easy made for making technique clear,
but that doesn´t mean, that the maps are not playable! Try it out at a server and you will get average gameplay! (Tried out with friend)

It's not that I don't like. If they are on my pc I have nothing against them, but on internet they loads very slow, and that suck. If You don't want to lose quality You should use png instead of bmp. They will look exactly the same but png will be much smaller. But if you want to make picture really light, so jpg is the best thanks to level of compression which You can choose by Yourself.

And once again if about maps, as popular saying says, "small is beautiful" =).

Anyway, next time if you want to make small arenas take a look to maps like Arena2. I don't think anyone would like to be flying all the time and turning around over that structure in the middle.
