Ghost in the shell (do the movies count too?)

Is there a series based on it?

Also, I'd say the Animatrix, but even though it comes in 9 episodes, I'm not sure it really qualifies as a series.

yeah theres a half assed sort of spin off called stand alone complex

also no the animatrix does not count but its REALLY fucking cool. especially when that robot goes fucking nuts and kills his owners

the live action movies were ok for their fighting scenes and that, but the animatrix added a really good and dark backstory to it all that i loved

The second season was pretty bad, though.

Personally I can't stand House, Bones, CSI or any other predictable, stereotypical mush formed with the same mold you've seen a hundred times before. When the question is just "what will the twist be today?", there's no reason to watch it.

Right now I'm liking Dexter and Huff.

Are you kidding? Tony's episode was off-scale awesome, it had a sex scene to Sigur Rós, and the season final went epic (plus the Cass/Sid lines had a sweet wrap-up aswell).

The second season was terrible. The third series is looking promising however.

Futurama, Family Guy, Mock The Week, and Nevermind The Buzzcocks.
