I love it, best adrenaline rush I've had in a lot of time, the lyrics are lovely, I like how they are now, somewhere between their thrash metal roots and modern Heavy/Industrial metal, the vocals and heavy melody just make me want to get out there and bust some balls.

How did you like the album?

I think it's an awesome album, I was so positively surprised. I've always been a Metallica fan, but I anticipated this new album with worry. It's wicked, I'm liking it.

Definately better than St.Anger thats for sure.

I'm getting it today, but I must say I've never been a fan of metallica. I liked a couple of their older not well known songs, and I really don't like th vocals that much. But I've seen a significant number of people saying this one's good and a bit different, so I hope I'll enjoy it. It's always nice to get pleasantly surprised

I've only and always liked Metallica's stuff up to the Black album. After that, their edge disappeared and the music wasn't as good anymore (to me anyways, a lot of fans like their latest work just as much).

But other than the names, the songs are actually better than on ST. Anger, but the drums are underproduced (they sound like buckets).

Saw em' live in Jan, was great and I love "That was just your life". Sounded amazing and played some good stuff.

Anyways this is the first full album I've bought since I got A Night at the Opera by Blind Guardian back in 2002. I've always been a Metallica fan, and this album solidifies that fact. Awesome album.
I would've seen them live, but it cost $60 and I'm cheap.
