instead of that, you know the music that plays when you get to be predator? why not everyone hearing it when someone turns predator? total invisibility, except for a subtle jet opacity, and that song playing. So you would know theres a predator, but you can't see him at all. And the "closer to enemy- opacity increase + walking sound" is really cool.

I thought you did hear that music ...

I veto this BIG time. Not only the players will shout Spy/Pred!, they'll be easier to be killed.

not if pred gets invincibility like flamegod, for that time, or at least very hard to kill.

i hear it, when i get it, when others get it you don't.

No, when you're close enough, you can definitely hear it. You're still inexperienced in Pred ;)

Thats what I thought, you can hear when pred is picked up if youre near them. Also you cant pick up other bonuses when you already have one.

You can only pick up one time-limited bonus box at a time. This includes Flame God (although the Flamer weapon is currently permanent), which gives a 10 second invulnerability. That means if you have a Predator, you can't have a Flame God or Berserker at the same time.

Examples of bonuses that are NOT time-limited which can be picked up anytime: Medkits, Frag Grenades, Cluster Grenades (though if you've picked up clusters you can't pick up Frags unless you throw away all your clusters), Bulletproof Vest. These bonuses can be picked up even while you are using time-limited bonuses. In other words, for example, a Predator can pick up a bulletproof vest or a healthpack.

Everyone can already hear the predator music, but the flaws are these:
1. You have to be pretty nearby to hear the music
2. The music plays at the exact location at where the predator was picked up, it doesn't follow the predator around.

well, i don't really play with bonuses, so :P

yeah, but i mean, everyone hears the sound of pred everywhere, and he gets 2x health and he gets total invisibility, until he comes close to you, when he gets just a bit of opacity.

Predators have no advantages EXCEPT for almost complete invisibility/transparency (you can still see a bit of a blur) and the lack of sound when they fire their guns (exception of chainsaw). Their "invisibility" is really almost completely nullified when they are low on health because their blood will show.

They do not have more hp than any other person. The only reason why they seem harder to beat is either you miss a lot, or he has a vest (in which you should hear a "ting" sound when he's hit). The other reason is because when you pick up such time-limited bonuses, you refill your hp to full just like healthpacks.

EDIT:
Oh wait, you're making a suggestion not talking about the current predator... my mistake.

Whatever it is, I don't support any health increase/decrease for the predator in particular.

No way ofcourse, it's kind of cheap already. The only thing I want is to have jet transparency in 1.5.

Hmm I suggest taking out walking steps of predator, I know some guys playing with max volume sound to hear predators, that is really adoring ;D

Some changes would probably be nice!

Predator should be more visible (Including jet flames) and make more noise as he gets closer to you, and be fully invisible and silent until he gets to within 1/2 a screen width.

I agree something like this should be implemented.
