I have a few modding questions, since I intend to mod a lot more in the future. If you decide to answer any of these, please refer to the number of the question, so we all know what you're talking about. Also, to any answers, thank you ahead of time.
Okay, is it possible too...
1)...mod my soldat game so that both aplha and bravo can have different weapon load-outs?
I have two Deadly Arsenal weapons load outs from Dairy, one a Marines load out, the other a terrorist load out. I'm wondering if I can use them both, but for different teams, at the same time. I have all the slots filled, so I can't just restrict the weapons on either team. I want Alpha to have all Marine-based weapons, and Bravo to have all terrorist-based weapons. So, is this possible?
2)...create my own triggered events in-game?
I would like to have bombs or missiles rain down from the sky, and I would like to have it triggered by the player stepping over a certain line. I know Trenchwars can do it with airstrikes, but I don't understand how it works. So, how do they do it?
3)...create my own sound effcts which can be activated by a trigger?
Before the bombs rain down, as mentioned above, can I program a sound effect like a guy yelling "Take Cover!" or anything? Like a real sound that comes through your speakers? And can I run this sound off of a trigger, or do I have to replace a sound already being used? Also, I'd be happ y just learning how to script in someone saying on the chat channel "Take Cover!" like in Trenchwars when an airstrike is about to happen. So, how does that work?
4)...make a different kind of game play mode? I'd really like to figure out how to make like a King of the Hill game, where a team has to guard a certain spot for a certain amount of time, or better yet, some kind of game that involves both teams running into the middle for a bomb, planting the bomb somewhere on the map, and then having to defend it from being defused (like in CounterStrike) before a certain amount of time. So, is this possible?
Again, thanks in advance, and I might edit this post as more questions come to me.
