Interesting math/physics/computer books?
« on: April 20, 2009, 09:33:37 pm »
I was just over at my cousin's house in the desert (eastern washington) and his dad (a texan who teaches calculus/physics to some college and shoots flies in his house with blanks and builds canoes for fun and then takes me out fishing in them. I can't start to describe this guy) noticed me reading a book called "Lectures on Computation" by Feynman, so he being the awesome dude that he is let me keep it.

Long story short it's a really awesome book and I'm halfway through it, going very slowly.

So I just wanted to know other books/stuff kindof like this, books that are interesting and mostly about math or physics or computers, 'cause that's what I'm into right now. Not stuff too technical, but more just interesting.

Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid.

Best book I've read.
