Waypoints works how?

How does the waypoints work? I tried to put some, but nothing (and I don't know how it works). In my map, when I get the flag and go close to my team bots they follow me (I gess it's normal). But I don't know how it works.

The bots need to hit the exact spot where the waypoint is placed, and the waypoints need to be connected.

Well the tuto didn't really helped me...
I still don't know how to make the move with the wayoints...
