fullscreen off-alignment
« on: January 05, 2010, 08:14:12 pm »
When I play Soldat in it's fullscreen mode, the game ends up unaligned to the screen in a way that makes me unable to see part of the left and top of the game, with black borders on the right and bottom of the screen. Can someone tell me how this can happen and how to fix it ??

your screen changes resolution and is run on 640x480 (unless you've registrated) and therefore you must adjust your monitor to display it at the right position.

Your monitor might have some sort of auto adjust feature (most flat panels do) where it affixes the positioning according to the resolution that's being given. So yeah, run that. It's part of the on screen menu.

I recommend non-fullscreen with stretching to 100%.
Also, makes the change between game and desktop much faster.
Last year, I dreamt I was pissing at a restroom, but I missed the urinal and my penis exploded.

Well actually if your normal monitor resolution is the same resolution you want to run Soldat, there isn't really a difference. (I run Soldat at 1280x1024, just like the rest of the desktop)

I was presuming that he doesnt have a regged version, and there is some difference in the opening/closing when playing in fullscreen and non fullscreen at 100%, so there might be something wrong when it is resizing into fullscreen.
