Sound doesn't work

1.4.2 Soldat sound works just fine.

If I patch it to 1.5, the sound stops working.  If I delete the Soldat folder, restart my computer, and install 1.5, the sound stops working.

Any ideas?

ALL sounds don't work.  Not just the missing ones.  Music doesn't work (e.g. "Playing ... Gore"), guns and explosions don't play sound, everything.  I went back to 1.4.2 to see if it was my PC, and the sound works perfectly fine in 1.4.2.  I used the same drivers I used in 1.4.2 in 1.5, and the sound doesn't work.  I'm clueless.

Check the sound and music volume in the options. This could be the problem. xD

Have you tried changing the sound driver in the Soldat config?

Yeah, I tried every sound driver there is available, and none of them work.

Look mate, we DO know you're here, but we're busy and/or simply don't know the solution. Try changing the sounds settings, and fiddling around. Maybe it's your PC? Does sound work for other games? Are your speakers plugged in (They are, I know, I'm just spit-balling). Try earphones, that worked for me, my speakers had broken!

I don't think it matters much, but why don't you give the specs of your soundcard. A list of output drivers etc. would be nice as well.
