Oh... An Idea and a Question

I am thinking about making a mod for Soldat...  Actually, scrap that, it will be more a TC (for the weaps).  It will be based on another game, Starsiege.  Its quite an old game, but I love it and it wasn't very popular, it like a mech sim game.  If I were to make it, would you DL, or at least enjoy it?  Because I'm not gonna waste time witha whole TC that nobody will appreaciate. 

Have any of you heard of played Starsiege (or at least its predecesor, Earthsiege)?
