We think alike. Too many times am I reloading while an opponent sees me and takes a shot. Good ol knives are cool too, but when I lose it, I usually loose it for good!

Train it better, and train your climbing\dodging skills.
So basically go on dodgeball servers and knife only-s. Climbs are obvious.

The best way to learn to play is playing the game itself. You don't learn proper moving in fappy climb maps nor knife throwing & dodging in a dodgeball server. Real situations, real skillllz!

One on 4 instant death situations however, REAL LACK OF TIME TO LEARN!
Think of that...In servers built solely around a single skill and it's side needs, you can focus on that one and single skill by not just having to deal with it, but in trying to survive with others forced down to that skill, so by watching them make mistakes you learn easier than by your own mistakes.

Edit: Platehead's post below this kinda clears up my idea.

Well I sorta do that. I once joined a saw game, it was fun to learn the ropes of how to saw better. Some players were also using only knives in a DM (instead of all weapons as a pass time) which was also fun. That got me interested in knives.

Climb and knife only would be strictly to improve your raw knife skills and your agility.  Real situations don't provide the means to improve this stuff as your focus is usually on other things, and you rarely have much time to actually aim the knife.
