Gamemaker is for those who are too lazy to learn a code language to do games in it.
Aye. It's true.
Sure Espadon. But first, I'm going to run through a few things - maybe see if I can't add bonuses to the Jelgavan War game, like starting enemies on fire. I might also look up some tutorials on timings, proper room changing, and enemy life (so that not every enemy is a one-shot kill).
I'm just really rusty on how it all works. Haven't used Gamemaker in ~a year and a half
Edit:Oh my goodness. There's so much I could do, and plenty of ways to do each thing. This is why I wouldn't want to learn serious coding: my brain tries to wrap itself around every variable in the situation, which is fine; but then it tells me how much unappealing work needs to be done to accomplish something very simple and pointless. Yay, now I have a roadmap to accomplishing something! but it feels too useless. There are already plenty of games like Jelgavan War and Asteroids.
I might as well hunt down some good flash games if I want this type of entertainment.
