Concerning match adjustments...

I was wondering, when playing pcw and tournaments matches, what adjustments do you choose? Do you choose survival mode, realistic mode etc.
The reason why I'm asking is because I want to know what to practise at...
Thanks in advance
PS: wanted to put this into Need Help? Report Bugs! Thread, but it seemed to only consist of troubleshooting problems etc so I posted it here...

Mofo, you're saying without RS mode and Sotija is saying with. So which one is it?

The general settings I see most often when I play clanwars are:
10min time limit
10 caps max
Realistic/survival/advance modes OFF
4 nades
Respawn 3-5 seconds
Bullet time OFF
Stat guns disabled
Bonuses OFF
Different tournaments have different standards. SCTFL, which is basically the biggest and most widely-known league, uses those rules so that has become somewhat of a standard in servers. The next SCTFL will have only 3 nades, but like I said it depends what tournaments you plan on entering to decide what to practice with. There are realistic leagues and non-real so you will have to decide which you want to play before you can get anybody to tell you what exact settings to use.

Thank you for a clear answer. I just wanted to know whats the most populare settings. Could you just explain what 10 caps max and stat guns disabled means?
Thanks in advance!

10 caps max means that if a team caps 10 times on a map, the round automatically ends and the team that scored 10 wins.
Stat guns are the mounted guns that you find on some maps. Example: on Kampf, the bigass guns by the crates on both sides of the map. These are disabled on most servers because somebody can just sit on the statgun and be practically invincible, because the statgun is really powerful.

Yeah, I think poop said something about how he and the other SCTFL admins talked with the TNL admins and they settled on 3.
