If you feel a crack coming on, have something cunning or stylish at hand; and avoid using a plethora of cuss words. Those are unimaginative.

Really, what causes people to crack, short of a punch to the face? Please, explain any experiences you've had with someone just snapping. The trend seems be: one person has a personal vendetta against another person; the first person holds it in, but then one day snaps. Amiright?

I had one kid "crack" by glaring at me and telling me he "couldn't be intimidated."

Ohh, right.

Well, yeah, assuming you mean crack as in "to randomly go nuts and snap, violently" I believe for that to happen either the person needs to be severely under the influence of certain substances, or, just plain pissed off due to prior events.

If by cracking you mean nervous breakdowns, then yes I've experienced it once a year. Or cracking and getting really mad and doing something you regret.

By any perchance, did you make this topic after seeing two people get banned in the same hour yesterday?

That wasn't me/wraithlike cracking; that was us finally doing what we've put off for ages. Well, f4113n sort of cracked when he posted gay kiddie porn, but still.

I know it wasn't you guys. I was just talking about all those times that some regular forum members occasionally crack and get themselves banned. Or warned.

I had the aforementioned (er, banned) people in my mind when posting this. Especially UnknownSniper.

I deal with stress and situations differently (aka grinding teeth and logically sorting through problems): I snap every once in a blue moon. I will have some sort of nervous breakdown from year to year though.
