There is my comments for that sketch

Few thinks. Sure this kind of hand drawn sketches are beatifull and all... But when I make sketches of maps. I make them with paint And I want them to be simple

Somthing like this: http://i48.tinypic.com/10z7b7n.jpg

You want to think how the game play would work. What kind of cool features could some stuff have? You focus too much on look at sketches like that. First think when you start building the map is to make it playable!!!

Then you make a some realy dull and simple looking version from it and start wondering how to make it more smoot and better for gaming. The last think you need to bother about is look...

The mappers when they have good plan they build well playable map in 2 hours. But they can waste time making it nice looking 20 hours. And that 20 hours goes for nothing if the basics of map sucks (we want to play the maps not to put them on wall) .

So next time you start thining the new shine map just think how you could make a nice map for intresting playing. Map isn't good because it look good. It is good because it feels good.

Let me explain what I wanted a bit better...

What I meant to ask for was a map that looked and followed the same general pattern as the drawing that I showed in the first post. Not an exact carbon copy of the drawing translated into a map, as I am not a mapper I had fully expected that if someone had tried to make a map off of this that they would have taken the liberty's to change a few things to improve game play.

kouleman has no f**king idea what he's talking about...
At least it isn't even remotely related to your map sketch suggestion.
The building thing reminds me of Mission mod's very first (and some others as well) map, in which you have to go past several floors with baddies in order to reach your destination. So most probably you wanted a human attack against mall zombies from the bridge direction. After the capture the players would descend back down and run into that cavern with the white flag. Hai?

Ooh sorry dude I didn't know it was supposed to be a zombie map.

I just looked word "inf" there

I was automaticly thinking multi player options at gathers and that kind of stuff.

But if you would like to build a normal multiplayer inf map in that case that skecth would be rubish.

Yup you are right that my sketch isn't related to that map anyhow. It was only a example how to make sketchs that are easily modifiable. If you want to make a sketch for normal inf or ctf game play you should make it like that way. (easy and fast)

Since I finaly realized it is zombie map not normal inf stuff. I don't realy have anything to say about "game play" or other "those kind of stuff" Sorry for the mess.
