Wrong registration key?

I bought a registration key today after rediscovering soldat.
But when I entered my key in the registration tool, it said that it was invalid.
I tried entering the key several times, with no success.

When I figured that this wasn't going to work, I bought another key, because I really wanted to register my version of soldat.

But when I recieved my second registration key it appeared to be exactly the same as the one I recieved before. And ofcourse, this one wouldn't work either.

I think I recieved a random string of characters instead of a valid key. And since I noticed on this forum that it is very hard to contact Michal Marcinkowski, I figured I'd try my luck over here.

Hopefully someone can explain what went wrong.

No, but seriously. Have you tried registering it manually? For which version did you try to register it?

My birth went quite well actually.
It was such a success, that my mother had a twin.

My soldat version is 1.5.0, which I downloaded yesterday from the soldat homepage.
And I used the registering tool that was provided along with the e-mail with my invalid keys:

Are you sure you didn't select any additional characters from the registration mail? Delete all spaces that are after and before the key, etc.

If it still doesn't work, open Registry Editor (Start -> Run -> regedit), open HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Soldat. Right-click on the list of keys, New -> String value, name it Key. Now right-click on the key you created, click Modify and paste your registration key into the lower field. Click OK, close Registry Editor and run Soldat - it should be registered now.

How come I get the same key, even though I bought 2?

Yeah the keys are pretty much just an encoded string of the name that appears on the registered soldat.

Problem is solved through e-mail.

Still don't have a clue what went wrong though.
