CTF Moment

I'm a total noob to the game, just got it two days ago, but it's awesome. Today, I was playing CTF with some people, not sure what map, and I was getting owned over and over by this Bravo guy. He had another Bravo guy friend, who was owning with a Berret, but that's not important, he was easy. It's 2 to 2, thirty seconds left, and I was lumbering up the bottom passage. The flag was in an alcove, and the owning Bravo guy was always above it. I jumped out, he fired his M79 and missed. I grabbed the flag and fired with my Spas a couple of times. I missed, and then he missed again, but hit nearby, propelling me into the passage from which I had previously emerged. He gave chase, I ran. I shot back a couple of times and he through grenades. Then, I shot him and killed him, an excellent victory. I was just emerging from the other side by my flag with about five seconds left, and this Berret Bravo guy is camping by my flag. I'm totally prone, missing him, and my buddy comes out of NOWHERE and blow him away with an M79. My bud ran off, and I clambered toward the flag, blue flag in tote. Finally, ON THE LAST SECOND, I hit the flag, and for the victory 3/2.

It's not much, I know, but I was amazed by all of the awesome coincidences.

Meh, I acknowledged it too. I thought it might have been a little excessive when I read it, but I kept it anyway.

I love the fact that you use the spas instead of the M79 as most newcomers do. Spas is a great weapon.

Yeah, accidental boosts are great.  I was playing on ctf_Voland once, and the game was tied up with almost 30 seconds to go.  We had their flag in our base, and their guy was making off with our flag.  They had about 2 guys charging our base with m79s.  I had spawned and was running out to take them, when an explosion launched me out of the base and across the map.  I was going at probably 5x normal speed as I flew past the EFC and took him out with the ruger.  I returned the flag and we won, but it took a while to establish that I wasn't using speed hacks!

Actually, now that you mention it, I was watching it as well .  The map looked like ctf_Laos at first, but I'm watching it again now, and it was probably ctf_Dropdown.
