Is there a program that translates the scripts?
« on: January 23, 2011, 01:40:23 pm »
It's a little crazy idea but maybe someone can do
example, the scrip will represent as '/ ' and only WriteConsole (ID)
normally cpu and will normally represented as 'say' gonna be funny: P but it will be only an idea

Quote
////////////////////////////////////////

WriteConsole(ID,'You are not logged in, you cannot log out!',$ffffffff);
///////////////////////////////////////////////////
say:I found the WriteConsole as the script says and translate it to Portuguese as the script said

of...
to...
WriteConsole (ID, 'Você não está logado, você não pode sair!', $ ffffffff);

say:WHAT I have done the script told me

So will someone make a program that can translate the scripts?

I guess he means translating any write console texts depending on player's country. so that when some random Pole will join, he'll see all texts in Polish, Germany in German, Finn in Finnish etc. It can be done, but not in as automated way as he expects.

I guess it can be done to work automatically, by resolving the hostname and getting country name. You'd also need to prepare a lot of text in the languages you want and switch between them for each player. Not that hard I guess.

Maybe if we download a program or rather a virtual dictionary we can get the folder containing the languages that will give a good advantage in the end script

No.

I asked for the gringos

Americans have no problem with that because it is they who make the scripts (mostly) and if you were a gringo would have trouble also heed the scripts  >:(
