Question about clan creation

I have a question on clan creation. I have been playing soldat for some time now and wish to become apart of something bigger. I would also like to be in control of this bigger thing. So I turn to clan creation. But how does one create the clan? Just start a topic and get going, or is there an official registration with the soldat game?

Note: Sorry if I am not posting this in the right area, but as you can see by my recent joining of the forums, i'm not very familiar abbout all the subforums and other things.

You have to create a thread, but make sure you read the sticky in this forum first, as it will tell you all the information you'll need to provide for members to join.

First you have to choose how you will communicate with your future members. mIRC is the best choice imo. Then you have to be good enough to attract good players, unless you don't care about the quality. You also need willpower and heart to keep the clan going and to do all the pesky and annoying things that all clanleaders must. Where you will recruit is also a question, you can post in these forums and expect a response from the very low to medium skilled players, or advertise in quakenet on the right channels, where there's average skilled players and higher. Now I'm locking this(and yes it was in the right section).
