Game Booster

Hey guys! Recently I've found an amazing programme which has changed my gaming experience. My PC is kinda crappy (Laptop+Vista=A very long swear), so I've played Soldat with 20-40 FPS (sometimes 5-10, depending on the map) and League of Legends with 9-10. After activating gaming mode, I've found Soldat at 60, and League of Legends at 40 FPS, which is quite an achievement, considering all it does is defragmating RAM and closing (or better: disabling) unnecessary processes while you're playing. It also has additional options allowing the user to defragmate target directories which boosted my FPS further.

This is indeed advertising, but it's free, and I felt like sharing it to you guys who may have the same problems I had. If you use the unregistered version, you'll be able to defragmate target directories, enable gaming mode (disable processes (there's a checklist, don't worry)) and boost one game's FPS to heaven. Upgrading makes you able to boost more games and there are a few more options to choose from, but I didn't bother and it's not necessary at all.

So, here's a link. Hope it helps ;)

Why not just do it manually by yourself without any software?
Each advanced user must know how to speed up the Windows OS...

I'm just saying that Game Booster is only a 'small & temporary' adventure..

I know how to do it, but I am just looking for quick fun and am really lazy. Additionally, I don't have to restart all the stuff Game Booster just disabled for the moment when I stop gaming. It's happening automatically. It's really nonsense to do everything yourself when one click can do it already.

How is it a small and temporary adventure? The difference between gaming mode turned on and off is significant, and I really fail to see how it's temporary :O

Its rather nifty actually. One of those programs that makes you wonder 'why am I only hearing of this now!?' - which is where the skepticism comes from i guess.

I wonder what it actually does. Scans your applications and processes to later send info about it to their company so they could sell that data to some random statistic firm. o/
