Definately too much contrast in height. Try using more polygons instead of making a blocky map. It will help with shading in the end.
Think of it as your goal to shape the terrain with the polys. Make up smaller shapes with more polys, and use the larger polys when you know the shading won't come out so blocky.

Ha..no worries. It's a simple fix. Take some time to tinker around with the map a bit while you're at it, and update it with something a bit more well shaded/level for ctf. Or, just make it an inf map and roll with it.
